going to JATC help me get my job really great with the Relationships by met with my teachers at JCC as well as the teachers I did my practice comes with within the school district gave me a heads up I got to take a college classes how to put you ahead of everyone out the especially since we get to Grants Pass code my name is Laura Smith a teacher Overton Elementary and then I D&D autism of special education Justice so my senior high school I started at the JATC I did the full teacher education program I was able to use those college credits and go to Utah State University where I'm at special education with an emphasis in severe disabilities and then I had a job directly out of college here in Jordan School District I miss Bailey and I am a professional at Elk Meadows at end of day to see my senior year graduated in 2015 it was a full semester full two semesters and I got 13 college credits I did practicum in the Diagnostic in her garden and the last semester that I do they said one of our age. Coming back we'd love for you to come work with us and I just got hired right on the spot and came back the next school year working at The JCC doing course work there I was able to get hands-on experience within my classroom with my peers and in practicum a lot of my peers at the college level hadn't had any first-hand experience in the classroom which is one thing that I had above my peers in my college classes I also got help applying for scholarships with Brenda she really pushed me to apply for them and I got the teacher recruitment scholarship only two people out of going to school district to get them being able to work one-on-one with students in different a different variety setting that's the greatest way to know if teaching is made for you to try it if you don't like it now you know a lot of people going to college to spend their first three years I'm into something and I didn't get into the classroom and they're like why am I doing was easier for me to transition into college from JTC because I had some college background it wasn't just High where can I buy my name is Claudia Tampa and I'm sitting at JTC and I was part of the teacher education program special ed teacher but coming into special ed classroom has really pushed me to really become a teacher and I love the hands-on experience and watching all the teachers get up and change and what I can learn from them because I want to make a difference to have people that I can go to an app you can help me and it's real world knowledge is so grateful that I did it because it got me in the door now I work at Jordan School District I did a practicum and it just could lead any
