This video will go over how to set up your portfolio by creating your own personal website on Google Sites.

in this video will be going over how to set up your professional portfolio through a Google site go to site. Google.com you will click on the link you will want to name your site with your first and last name and then professional course you can also entitle your homepage using your first and last name and then label it JATC portfolio in addition to this homepage there are four additional pages that we need to add on the right hand side you will see a menu option for Pages at the bottom you will see a new page icon the first one will be labeled as leadership the second page will be labeled program competency the next page will be labeled college readiness and the last one will be labeled career readiness these are the same items that you used to create your Google Drive and noticed that these have the same night names as the full folders that you created once we have those additional Pages we will go back to the homepage we will go to the insert option menu the very first item that we will add to your home page isn't about me statements the Wonder layouts you will see a single item layout we will click on that we will label this one about me below that you will enter the name of your the name of your program your JATC program your grade level and your home High School hello that you will insert an about me statement which is a short statement of a you sentences to a paragraph long introducing yourself you will also have you insert a professional photograph here where you are dressed up in professional clothing as you would for an interview the other items that we will include home page are your resume your cover letter and some references so we will come over to this right hand side under the inserts and there is a 3 item template right here that we will bring over we will label them cover letter resume and references once you've treated the homepage you'll come over to the leadership page the leadership page has two supplemental so under the layouts page will bring over the two item layout there is a list that you will choose from once you do you will include the name the activity that you completed in this box right here next we will go on to program competency under program competency there is one core or required to come over to the Single Ladies item Leo layout we will need a label this one Jay ATC grades in addition to the core requirement there's also 3 supplemental so under the layoffs we will bring over the three item layout and then once you have decided which activities you will complete will label those and insert your documents here under college readiness there are a 3/4 we will bring over the three item layout and we will label them High School transcript College comparison and degree or program requirements in addition those three core items there is also 3 supplemental so we will bring over another three item layout once you have decided which activities you will complete you will name them and insert your documents here last one will be career Readiness under career-readiness there are three supplemental so we will come over to the layouts page and include the three item layout very similar what you have decided which activities you will complete you will name them and insert your documents here those pages have been created you will want to go up to the share with others icon under links you will click on the change button and ensure that under draft it is set to restricted as well as with Pub site you also want to set it to restricted that ensures that only the people that you send the link to will have access to your page which will protect your information when you have that completed click on the den button and you have the basic template for your professional portfolio you will then need to go in and add your documents when you have completed those items which we will cover in another video
