Engineering: Technician

 

Engineering: Technician is a program in collaboration with SLCC's Engineering Technology Certification Program and consists of courses: Manual Machine Shop, CNC Machining, Engineering Graphics, and Engineering Mathematics. With the two machining classes students will gain basic skills to work in a manual machine shop and also programming CNC machines. Students will be able to model using an CAD modeling software to create different parts that can then be programmed onto the CNC machines and create a physical part.
